Brush Up on Your Bird Bath Cleaning

Bird bath water can collect droppings and should be changed often. Regular cleaning will help reduce algae and is good for your birds’ health. Scrub your bath regularly with our EcoTough® Scrubber Brush with a solution of one part bleach to 10 parts water, rinse well, and replace with fresh water. Extremely durable, this environmentally-friendly brush is made of recycled tires and plastic bottles.

We do not recommend cleaning products for baths, nor do we recommend water-conditioning additives. Instead, we suggest placing the bath or pond in a shaded area – which helps reduce algae growth.

Nectar Bottle

Create the ideal nectar solution for your hummingbirds with the WBU Nectar Bottle. Simply fill the container with warm or hot water, add one cup of table sugar or one box of WBU Hummingbird Nectar, replace the lid and shake until the sugar is dissolved. Use your new nectar solution right away, or refrigerate it (in the bottle) until you’re ready to fill your hummingbird feeders. Nectar Guard Tips slide onto the underside of the feeding port and offer a flexible guard that allows the hummingbirds to feed while inhibiting insects. Fits all Wild Birds Unlimited hummingbird feeders.

WBU Nectar Brush

Designed to clean hummingbird and other similar feeders. This quality brush will reach those hard to clean areas at the top and bottom. It will fit into small neck bottles. Bristles must be wet. The bristles are firm but flexible. The overall length is 14"
